Was Einstein Clueless?
I truely believe that the more creative, visionary or intelligent a person is, the less likely he or she is to be firmly grounded to the planet earth. (Same goes for Aquarians).
These types of folks can recite “The Illiad”, understand Quantum physics, are great inventors…but for some reason, a salad spinner confuses them.
A StartUp Nation acquaintance of mine, whom I believe to possess qualities of brilliance and enlightenment — oddly the same qualities found in stand-up comedians — recently shared this story to our community of small business owners:
- Where I work there is a department called Education Abroad, which is referred to as Ed Abroad. When I started, I heard people say, “just go to Ed Abroad’s office.” and “Oh. He works with Ed Abroad.” I thought there was a dude called Ed Abroad for MONTHS. Then, I heard, “Ed Aboard is taking a group of students to Italy and Germany.” Wow, I thought, this Ed guy is quite the international traveler. I started to even envy him a little. Then, Ed Abroad was going to Japan to study Basho haiku! I figured he was some rich, pompous professor. I began to hate him and his high-flying, five-seven-five syllabled, life style. Eventually, my future wife told me… there was no Edward Abroad, Ph.D. And like that, my nemesis was gone.
This is either hilarious or just sad…lol. By the way, Abe Lincoln was an Aquarian, as am I.
Let me know your stories.
