pretty boring…i must admit. The funnest part was when Francis Ford Copolla, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas shared the stage and presented the Best Director award to none other than Martin Scorsese. What’s really sad is that there are no great young directors (not like these guys anyway) to pass the torch to. The closest we’ve got is Quentin T, whose work is still very good, but come on…

omg! And what was up with Meryl Streep’s outfit…it looked like the “the mall rat wears Prada.”
I think Sophia Coppolla will turn out to be pretty influential…but I agree with you.
