Read About Deaths Linked To Tainted Pet Foods
I’d been hearing about deaths of dogs and cats in the U.S. as a result of having eaten tainted pet foods — produced by Canadian pet food manufacturer — Menu Foods.
And of course I got scared…what if the food I have been giving to my dog could kill him?
I didn’t realize the list of brands was so extensive: Iams for goodness sake?…so PLEASE check the list to see if your brand is on it.
Apparently the results can be fatal…and if the animal should survive, the particular toxin in the food can lead to liver disease.
I do hope no one’s pet has been affected.
Here is the dog food list, but if you are a cat owner, there is a separate list…you need to go to Menu Foods web site (menufoods.com) for complete recall information.
