Out of The Mouths of Babes…
I think we should all apllaud the 50 young students whose essays were selected out of 50,000 entries to Oprah’s essay contest, the objective of which was to verbalize why Elie Wiesel’s Nobel Prize winning book Night is relevant today.
It is hard for most adults to articulate with clarity the horrors that took place at the Auschwitz death camp over 60 years ago — how humans are capable of placing such evil and degradation upon other humans…
And yet these 50 young students were able to, with grace, respect and enourmous intelligence. All of them honor students, I hope each grows into fine adults.
Congratulatons to you all and may we never forget.
