My Brother Got A Photo Book
My brother didn’t know what he looked like as a baby, you can read why in Baby Pics & Self. He was expecting his first child and I knew he would be sad not knowing whether she was like him.
I contacted relatives for any photos my mother had sent to relatives. I went through boxes and boxes of slides stashed in my Grandmother’s closet, trying to distinguish my brother from our 42 other baby cousins. Yeah, remember slides were going to be the “new permanentthing.” Think about that next time you mark your photo CDs or store a jump drive with the intention of keeping it forever.
I rounded up about 1015 photos of Klint as a baby and made a photo book. I used my Photoshop skills to I messed with the color, transforming some to black and white, and turned some of them into sketches and watercolors.

I love photo books as gifts for Christmas, birthday, baby showers, weddings or any other reason. Last year I made two and both recipients will cherish them forever and ever. As far as cost, they are cheaper than a shirt and provide way more value and meaning.
The winner of this Blogtoberfest Prize is . . .Sharyn. Congratulations and thanks for commenting on BlogFabulous. I hope you’ll all come back everyday.

um — are you referring to me? Have I actually won something, or is there another Sharyn out there?
