About Blog Fabulous
This blog is about growing as a woman and finding your own power.
We dissect the culture, but not usually celebrity gossip (Britney Spears is boring).
I’ll get political, especially in terms of women’s issues (I want a female president).
We’ll chit-chat about money with a focus on how to get more of it, spend less on stupid stuff, and save it by finding bargains. And yes, how we feel about our relationship with it (hello Suze Orman and Dave Ramsey).
You may find a household hint (clean your floors with vinegar) or a make-up tip (Loreal Extreme Volume works best) or a review of a product that really works (Magic Erasures, even the generic).
We read books here and like to talk about those (sometimes I give them away).
There might be a weight issue, in terms of health. And some beauty issues, in terms of developing an actual self esteem.
I get a little controversial.
I can get all mushy and spiritual and go on about God and the universe and miracles.
I have two great kids so you might hear a little about them (to hear all about my daughter go to So Sioux Me where I talk about all this stuff from a girl empowerment angle.)
I’m also married, so you might get a little marriage advice or more likely, I’ll ask for some.
Most of all I, Tracee Sioux, as the author of Blog Fabulous, want to inspire you. Inspire you to change something about yourself for the better and find your voice.
I love comments because they feed my ego - they tell me “someone actually read this and thought about it” and I find that extremely validating. So, I encourage you to find your voice here in the comments section.
No one agrees with me all the time - not even me - so don’t be shy.
